Watan Relief & Development Welfare Organization (WRDWO) is a non-governmental, non-profit organization established in 2021 and officially registered with the Ministry of Economy of Afghanistan under registration number (5162).
The Organization supports the most vulnerable groups through programs in education, orphan sponsorship and care, emergency relief response, livelihood improvement, water supply and well drilling projects, healthcare services, construction of mosques and community facilities, and various social and developmental initiatives aimed at improving living standards, preserving human dignity, and achieving sustainable development.
Afghanistan continues to face severe humanitarian and economic challenges. The suffering of poor families, orphans, widows, and returning displaced persons is increasing amid limited resources and growing basic needs. In response, our Organization serves as a bridge of goodness, delivering assistance to its rightful beneficiaries with integrity, transparency, and professionalism.
We operate under a clear institutional framework and a comprehensive humanitarian and developmental vision. Our experienced professional team is committed to quality, sound management, proper planning, and careful monitoring to ensure real and sustainable impact. WRDWO operates across various provinces of Afghanistan and has the technical and administrative capacity to implement programs nationwide according to community needs and donor requirements.
Currently, activities are concentrated in eastern provinces including Jalalabad, Kunar, Laghman, Nuristan, Kabul, and Logar, with plans for gradual expansion.

The Organization places great importance on promoting the methodology of moderation and balance, and on rejecting extremism, violence, and terrorism. This stems from its social responsibility to safeguard intellectual security and reinforce the tolerant values of Islam.
- Distribution of specialized scholarly books on moderation and the rejection of extremism to imams, muezzins, teachers, and students of knowledge.
- Organizing academic lessons that reinforce moderation and the correct understanding of Islamic texts.
- Holding lectures and awareness seminars about the dangers of extremism and its negative effects on individuals and society.
- Selecting teachers for Qur'an circles and affiliated schools based on strict academic and intellectual standards, from graduates of recognized universities, known for intellectual balance and distance from extremism.
- Guiding youth through positive educational methods that protect them from extremist ideologies.

The Organization consists of a qualified professional team, including graduates of the Islamic University of Madinah and other recognized institutions, with extensive experience in humanitarian and relief work. The team operates with professionalism, strategic planning, and precise implementation, supported by strong coordination with official and local entities to ensure efficiency and timely delivery.
